Hikari-chan Series 2, 2020-present

Hikari-chan is a character I keep close to my heart. She was named by a friend, who saw the light she carries within her. When illustrating her, I channel who I am, who I’d like to be, the energy I’d like to embody - mostly courage, soft quiet courage. To be present, to release, to receive and to trust.

Series 2 contains my first collection of my original watercolour illustration and it holds a lot of significance to me. My art style has also noticeably evolved since Series 1.
